FAQ

The Alberta Dental Team Summit is our annual gathering of dental professionals from across Alberta and beyond. Over three days, we come together to learn, connect, and recharge in one of the most beautiful settings in the country. Built around three ideas – educate, collaborate, and rejuvenate – the Summit brings the whole dental team together for workshops, keynotes, and social events set against the backdrop of Banff and the Canadian Rockies. It is both a practical continuing education opportunity and a genuine team experience rolled into one.

The next Summit takes place March 18 to 20, 2027, at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta, set in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

Yes. Summit attendees will receive an individualized report that details the sessions and length of time they were attended. This report will be available to attendees two weeks after the Summit.

Please note, the hours issued for participation in this program does not imply acceptance by a provincial or state board of dentistry. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of their licensing board(s).

Business casual is recommended for most sessions. For our social events this year, we encourage you to embrace the 70s theme. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as there will be sessions and activities throughout the venue.

By March, temperatures in Banff slowly rise and the days are noticeably longer than at the peak of winter. That said, this is the mountains, so it’s still common to see cool temperatures and fresh snow, part of what makes Banff so beautiful this time of year. Daily highs average 0°C to 3.5°C (32°F to 38°F), with lows of -7°C to -12°C (18°F to 10°F). We’d recommend packing layers, a hat and mitts, and comfortable footwear so you’re ready to enjoy every moment, indoors and out.
