Insurance audits and provider delisting can be challenging for dental practices to navigate, particularly as insurers increase their focus on claims verification, billing patterns and claims integrity.
This interactive panel will bring together perspectives from the dental profession, insurance industry, and dental billing experts to help dental teams better understand the audit process and the steps practices can take to reduce risk.
Panelists will discuss common billing practices that may attract insurer attention, documentation, and verification expectations, how practices should respond when contacted by an insurer, and what can happen when concerns escalate. The panel will also explore provider delisting, including what it means for a dental practice and its patients.
Through practical examples and an open discussion, attendees will gain a better understanding of insurer expectations and learn proactive strategies that can support accurate billing, effective documentation, and positive insurer-provider relationships.
